History

On January 1, 2018, a new chapter unfolded in the Seventh-day Adventist Church with the establishment of the Central Tanzania Field under the dynamic leadership of its inaugural president, Pr. Toto Ndege Bwire Kusaga. This significant moment marked the dawn of a fresh era, assembling a dedicated team to spearhead the field’s mission and vision.

Leadership Team:

  • Directors: Pr. Mmbaga and Pr. Mng’ong’o
  • Accountants: Madam Mugara and Kerin Otuka

  • IT Manager: Mr. Mushi

District Pastors: In addition to this core leadership team, the Central Tanzania Field was blessed with the guidance of a dedicated group of District Pastors. Their commitment to shepherding the flock and fostering spiritual growth has been integral to the field’s success.

Community Engagement: Under the visionary guidance of Pr. Toto Ndege Bwire Kusaga and the collective efforts of District Pastors, the Central Tanzania Field has actively participated in community development projects, health initiatives, and educational programs, reflecting the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s holistic approach to ministry.

Spiritual Growth and Development: Pr. Mmbaga and Pr. Mng’ong’o, alongside District Pastors, have played instrumental roles in fostering spiritual growth within the field. Their commitment to effective pastoral care, educational programs, and outreach initiatives has created a nurturing environment for members to deepen their faith.

Administrative Excellence: Elder Mwambopo, as Treasurer, has overseen the responsible financial stewardship of the Central Tanzania Field, ensuring resources are managed efficiently to support the diverse ministries and initiatives.
